Everyone on Ace of Jades was a rockstar tonight. From crazy awesome diving saves to aces from the back line, this team was on fire. They also had many blocks that went back over the net with no return. For a group of strangers in their second week, they surely have the stuff together. This is definitely a team to look out for this season.

Casual Encounters

Casual Encounters is a new team to the Seattle Central gym, but have come in showing they aren't messing around. Tonight Alex was one of the stars of the show as he dominated the net with blocks and hits. Many times his opponents were caught off guard by their spikes coming back at them or found themselves scrambling to get behind the incoming torpedoes. While Alex and his team might be new to the gym, they sure aren't new to the game.

I admittedly did not watch a whole lot of the match between Face Ace and Big Bumpin tonight, but with such a great POTG write up I can't help but pick Michelle. Serving and passing are two very key pieces to the game of volleyball and Michelle obviously knocked those skills out of the park. On top of that she is a team player, which is the most important thing of all in a team sport. Way to go Michelle, I'll keep my eye out for you in the future.

Tonight was Clay's night on the back line. He was placing the ball all over the court and his opponents didn't know what to do with it. Then in the front line, Clay turned that serving arm into a hitting machine to claim multiple kills throughout the three games.

Salute Your Courts

It's always fun to watch Salute Your Courts during a game and tonight's two matches were no different. Actually, tonight was one of the most fun nights to watch them because their spirits were all high and they looked like they were having a blast on the court.
Kelsey was certainly a part of these fun shinanigans and she helped her team to victory with some wicked serves, diving saves and awesome assists. Good work to the whole team on a double victory and nice hustle Kelsey.
