Summer Softcore Kickball at Lower Woodlands Fridays

The season ended did not disappoint as both teams brought their "A" games to the chipper. Both teams wowed the fans with great catches making it tough to get runs home. Dream Team's second base was an all star with amazing catches, as well as the right-fielder. But it was Ted from Ball Related who not only made amazing catches for his squad he also had the "boots" that made the difference. In the 10 to 8 final it was Ted that drove home the winning runs. Great season to both teams, and congratulations to the champs Ball Related!

This weeks player of the week goes to Ted W. for coming up big with deep kicks. Late in the game it was all tied up until Ted kicked a bomb to help his team get the lead and the eventual win in the seasons biggest game! With Ted's great play he is this weeks player of the week!

If you can pull off a mustache: Automatic player of the week! According to the bi-laws of underdog, any player pulling off facial hair below the nose but above the lip is declared an ALL-STAR until that player decides to shave it or forgets to maintain it. AND It probably also helped that Ted IS an actual all-star kickballer who caught at least 75 catches in centerfield. Nice job Ted (and Ted's mustache)
