I Can't Believe it's NOT Gutter!
POTW: Greg Olander
TBD
It was tough to find a Player of the Week candidate as worthy as Greg Olander. Greg rolled a 154 followed by a capped 205. That kind of game will put a team on the fast track to victory in a hurry.

POTW: Clare
The Pickup Artists
Like a phantom, the man known only as Clare swooped into Sun Villa Lanes Wednesday night, leaving a path of destruction and battered pins in his wake. This silent assassin rolled games of 193 and 205 respectively, helping his Pickup Artists demolish the competition. When, with a raised eyebrow, your humble Bowling Commissioner remarked on his potential ringer status, he smiled and replied he was simply there to have fun, and had been doing so since he entered the alley. Touche, Clare. You may have won this round of POTW, but the war is far from over. Mwah ha ha ha ha!!! Oh yeah, um... congratulations.

There's No Crying in Bowling
After looking through the USL record books, the Statdog could find no record of any bowler rolling nines on the first frame of each roll in an entire game. That is, until last night when Robert Uhl achieved the feat. Alas, it was a week before Nine-Pin-No-Tap week so Bob was unable to parlay that into a massive amount of Red Hooks. However, this upcoming Wednesday, Bob has promised me more of those nines which he is so accustomed to getting.

POTW: David Lowe
The Pickup Artists
It seemed as if it were written in the stars Wednesday night as Dave showed up to the final BTB night wearing his 1979 Seattle Supersonics t-shirt. To be a champion you must think like a champion. And although his levels of wanting it-ness may have waivered a times, in the end, Dave was all business, leading his team to it's ultimate destination- New Championshipville. Dave's 186 and 199 sealed the deal. Jack Sikma would be proud.
