On Monday night, "Serves You Right" started out with a rematch with "Don't Bump to Strangers". They played in the season opener back in June and it turned out to be just as close a match on Monday as it was back in June. Both teams had their chances, but SYR won the first two games which gave them a chance to rest up before the championship match.
The championship match saw another rematch, as the Sweat Bandits looked to avenge a 3-0 loss earlier in the year. They pushed Serves You Right hard, winning the first game. The next two games were very close as the score went back and forth and both teams had their chances. Ultimately SYR pulled it out for the championship!
Brian carried his team on his shoulders and was considered a "One Man Team" by his own teammates. Brian elevated his game for the semis and the championship and it showed on the court as he carried his team to two wins and a title.
