Players of the Week

Oct 10 - Oct 20

Chloe Dunn

Chloe and Friends

Tonight at Seattle central thursdays was the semifinals for Alex and friends, a team who played hard and walked away victorious. Chloe Dunn is an outstanding member of this tea who k

Terrance Fuller

Mediocre - no way!

Terrance has been a dominating force all season! Mediocre (a misnomer if I've ever seen one - I get what you guys are doing) has played consistently all season and did not dip in the post-season. The first tourny matches were played with all-out hustle and a nice balance of competitiveness and fun. Not to diminish anyone's contributions - but Mediocre might be a completely different team without the strong presence of their go-to attacker, Terrance. The X-factor that keeps the plays rolling AND is a great teammate. Good luck next week!

Gabby Ivy

Balls In!

Gabby played great all night. One play in particular stood out though. With Balls In! having run into some bad luck and on the wrong side of a long run, Gabby sacrificed her body and came up with a huge pancake to keep the ball alive and end the run.

Bridget Whelan

VolleyBrawlers

When the space is quiet, it can affect the energy in the room. She kept up the spirit for both teams with her supportive talking!!

Rachel Sirkin

Bump N' Grind

Rachel Sirkin had two reasons to celebrate after her team, Bump N' Grind's game on Monday night: they won and it was her birthday! Besides the fact that she showed dedication by not ditching her team to celebrate her birthday, she also played phenomenally! Her all-around skills helped push the team towards the win. From serving overhand consistently, to getting some nice ups, she did it all. Congratulations and Happy Birthday to our player of the week, Rachel!

Heather Reed

Indy #V45

Our player of the week this week is being noticed for her kick butt hits and her kick butt attitude! Heather brings an energy to the court that helps her team work towards that win!! She's got great serves and a killer spike. Great first week Heather!

Brigitte Fabre

Notorious D.I.G.

Brigitte Fabre was a BEAST on the court on Thursday night at Seattle Central. Brigitte of Notorious D.I.G. was relentless in her pursuit of victory throughout all three sets. There was never a moment that she gave up on any ball! She hustled hard and pushed her teammates to hustle harder. For all of her greatness, Brigitte is our player of the week. Congratulations!

Francisco Luna

Vollipops

What a great sport, both on and off the court. He’s a killer player, but more than that, he’s a guy who genuinely loves to make the world a better place. He is one of the many players that helps keep this volleyball community so very strong. That right there is the true Underdog spirit,

Will Acker

Sports Round III

Will "the Kill" definitely lived up to his nickname tonight. He was flying all over the court and seemed to get a kill every time he connected with a ball. The ball was coming off great off his hand and his opponents were unable to do anything with basically any ball he connected with.

Shelby Flick

I'd Hit That

Shelby gets player of the week for what her team described as "carrying the team." After losing the first set 28-26, Shelby helped her team right the ship and win the next two sets to take the match 2-1.
