Players of the Week

Oct 8 - Oct 20

Heather Allen

Snatch'n Balls

Heather was a defensive stalwart throughout the entire evening. In a tight and a hotly contested battle throughout the game, there were many key possessions and defensive plays to be had. None more key than Heather's game clinching interception at the goal line of a 3rd down pass on the final drive of the game with her team clinging to a 2 point lead ending the drive after the opponent drove inside the red zone. The former 'U' and current NFL receiver Santana Moss once said 'Big Time Players Make Big Time Plays' ... 'Nuff said!

josh lynd

BDA Misfits

Had an amazing defensive effort hauling in three, wait, no, two interceptions and scoring a couple of touchdowns to go along with it. Not to mention he did this all while looking like an old man who lost his walker. Congratulations on the win and way to play!

Adam Gatdula

West2East

Gronk incarnate. The man could do no wrong over the middle of the field. Adam brought down every pass thrown his way throughout the game gaining solid yardage and multiple touchdowns. Congratulations on the win and way to play!

Kayla M. - POTW

That's Too Deep

After winning the Winter championship, the Melon Farmers were out to get some revenge against the team that they couldn't get by back in Fall 2016. Trying to avenge a 41-18 defeat, the Farmers came close, but Kayla led the charge in keeping the That's Too Deep streak against the Farmers alive. She made a great TD catch that turned out to be the difference maker in a very close 3 point game.

Robert W. - POTG

Indy #FF26

After a huge comeback drive that ended with a little over a minute left on the clock (including an exciting game tying extra point), they still had some work to do. With the Alabama Black Snakes having driven to mid-field, Robert picked off a pass to the middle of the field that sealed at least a tie and gave Indy one last shot at a win.

Haley Benjamins

No Pants Party

Haley was a superstar this week. In a game where each team had one interception and No Pants Party made only one other defensive stop, Haley was a big contributor to the win. She had a pair of great TDs, helped by tipping the ball a teammate for the lone INT of the game, scored a pair of extra points and made one of the key tackles on their only other defensive stop. Congratulations on the win and way to play!

Brendan Shanahan

Burnt Toast

Over three games today, including one as s sub, Brendan totaled eight interceptions, five touchdowns and a ridiculous amount of YAC. Brendan was straight up phenomenal throughout the entire day. Half the time the ball was thrown to his side of the field on defense, it was intercepted and on the offensive side of things he only had two drops. The man was unstoppable. Congratulations on the win and way to play.

Eric Rohner Keeps His Cool

Eric leads Q to a V

Eric had a battle today. Every possession counted, and he made sure of that. His accuracy with the ball and ability to convert extra points and 4th downs helped his team keep up with the Nuggets. In the last minutes of the game he marched his team down the field to score and turned around on D and rocked the Nuggets to seal the victory!! great game Eric

Christian Granlund

Necessary Roughness

Chris G carried his team into the championship game by throwing a whopping 6 TD's, which is why he is this week's Player of the Game. Chris could do no wrong on this glorious Tuesday evening, finding small windows to get the ball into at will. I'm pretty sure he closed his eyes for 2 of the 6 TD's, they were just that easy. Good luck in the championship game next week!

Tad Robinson-O'neill

Lawn Wranglers

Tad threw the ball all over the field today and lit up the score board. In the Lawn Wranglers game today, Tad threw for seven touchdowns and was throwing dimes all day. On defense he had a big, interception for a touch back.
