Eric spent his Sunday rockin n' rollin all over town to the tune of 26 miles! Holy cow I could never do this, this man is crazy I would have deviated off the course at the first site of a bar. None the less after running further than I have ever ran in my life, Eric showed up and rocked the court on Monday. Somebody buy this man a beer!

Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies
It was a windy Monday evening at Golden Gardens this week. Although it may have made it difficult for many players and teams, Rachel used the wind to her advantage and perfected her serve. With her killer slice serves the volleyball was being shanked left and right and the Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies walked away with a 3-0 victory over their opponent! Awesome job Rachel!

On the night of July 13, the sun had yet to shine as the rain shimmered off the sand; there was a feeling in the air that led people to believe that a glamorous thing was about to visit their presence. Indeed, all the bistanders witnessed this incredible figure bumping and protecting their home court. Some say it was a hawk, some say it was just a player; both are correct yet incorrect. It was Judy Nakamura with her signature move, "The Naka Hawk" that was opening eyes and raising everyones eyebrows just a little bit more.

It was hard not to notice the team wearing one black sock on their left foot this week. The Sandblasters had not only their opponents wondering but all the other spectators at Golden Gardens thinking are these people crazy?! If only everyone knew that they decided to change their name for their games to "Las Boot" in spirit of their teammate out with a left fractured ankle for the rest of the season. Awesome team spirit Sandblasters! We love having teams like you a part of our league!

It was a very hot night at Golden Gardens this week, likely that many particpants were going to be grumpy after a long, hot day at work, but not Lori. Lori showed up with a "bubbly and glowing" attitude that made the team chemistry of the Gobshites hotter than the temperature outside! With her amazing attitude and all around great play she led the Gobshites to a 3-0 victory over their opponents! Awesome job Lori!
