The champs are back, and they wanted to send a message to the other teams- you can't mess with Thursday Night Lights. Evan "White Chocolate Thunder" Jones, obliterated everything in his path, like a tornado filled with sharp gardening equipment. His absolutely horrific, disgusting capped games of 236 and 248 were tops in the league, and brought an unending combination of pain and shame to his opponents. Indeed, Evan, POTW again, but at what price- victory?

Sunset Bowl was on fire last night, although not physically speaking. Turkeys big and small rained down from the heavens left and right. The competition was fierce, but Jeff Eng was fiercerer. Jeff led all bowlers with flaming fiery games of 199 and 205. H-O-T fireballs of flame, yikes!

Lindsey McBride doesn't put up earth shattering high scores, but each week she maintains an above average average. Er, you know what we mean. Lindsey's games of 151 and 155 led all female bowlers on Thursday night, and helped grab another win for her team in their bid to make it back to the playoffs for a second straight season.

Erin "Personal Best" Sanders reached a personal best on Thursday night that shook the heavens. The best was so personal that it immediately wiped away all her favorite childhood and adult memories, and replaced them with one all-encompassing memory of her high high score. It was so best, that the very fabric of hers, the Big Turkey's, and reality's reality were questioned to their core. How can Erin continue on with her life in any manner similar to her past experience after achieving such a personal best? Unfortunately, it's just impossible. Like the moon blotting out the sun, or an astronaut returning home to Earth after walking on the moon (while it blotted out the sun), all of Erin's other achievements will seem shallow and empty compared to her epic bowling feat... Anyway, congratulations, Erin!

It was a dark and stormy night, the kind that makes even the devil run and hide. Rain fell from the sky like black blood. Stephen Tainter held the only warmth to be found- the fire that burned in his eyes, heart, and loins, for the dark mistress of bowling. Few men can look the devil in the eye and roll a turkey, but Stephen is one such man. Legend has it that when Stephen is not bowling, he is locked in a barn on the outskirts of Renton, and on cold nights like that one, you can hear him dragging his oversized wooden claw from one end of the barn to the other. No wait, that was this movie we saw the other night. Anyway, Stephen's a pretty good bowler.

Thursday Night Lights
No surprises here, as Travis Milberger proved again why his team are champions and why he is the captain of said team. Travis started a little slow last night, but as we all know, in bowling- or hell, in ANYTHING- it's not how you start; it's how you finish. Travis knows how to put some nails in some coffins. Duplicating his previous championship game performance Travis finished with a turkey in the tenth for a score of 203, with his team all the while hooting, hollering, and pounding tabletops behind him. Travis' debut solo album "Turkey in the Tenth" is in stores now.
