Cailyn Criniti
Keg Kickers
Cailyn had never pitched before Opening Day in Fremont but this never showed as she pitched a complete game in Keg Kickers 10-4 victory. Cailyn's first six innings of shutout ball were a masterpiece. When the final inning rolled around, three out of the four runs were unearned due to a fielding error. Cailyn will be a force to be reckoned with as the spring turns into summer - congratulations Cailyn!

Nathan Phillips
Mud Sweat and Beers
While Nathan has been with the team Mud, Sweat and Beers for three weeks he had yet to play his first game of kickball or any other similar sport come week three. In spite of that he came ready to play in a nail biter that came down to the very last inning. Before making the catch that finished the game he had been having an astounding game running the bases while maintaining a positive attitude that seemed to shrug off any and all pressure.

Maxwell Van Hollebeke
Free Ballers 2.0
Max V.H. is the player of the week! He had an incredible game on Monday, June 24, where he had several rbi’s and was a monster on the defensive end. This great game was capped off with an incredible catch for the out past first base on a pop fly as Max ran and tripped over a trashcan while still having complete possession of the kickball!

The Comeback
The entire game Keg Kickers were down. They added some runs here and there to keep themselves in the contest. Then down by one they were able to tie up the score 4 to 4 in the bottom of the seventh. Now they needed to win the game. With a runners on the base paths Grant Bronsdon came up with everything riding on him. With one swift kick Grant drove in the game winning run to complete the comeback and give his team the victory. This clutch moment earned him Player of the Week honors.
In a game full of unique plays, Kara's double play was one of the weirdest. Kara had the wherewithal to catch a ball in the air that bounced off of her teammate and then realize she could turn a double play by tagging the runner off the base. Her heads up play ended the inning!
