Late Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Golden Gardens Thursdays

Kylie Ottmer played like a rock star this week! Even with little warm-up time, she was on fire from the start of the game. Throughout the game, she was determined to save the ball and not let it drop! Kylie brings much energy to her team, Spike it Like It's Hot, and I see potential for that energy to increase as the weeks go on. Keep up the great work Kylie and stay on your toes!

Charles has a knack for always being around the ball no matter where he was on the court. With his consistent serving and solid bumping abilities, Charles continued to be the gem of the week. Showing great sportsmanship, Charles inspired his team to keep pushing through his constant encouragements and infectious sense of humor. Great job Charles!!!

Megan Ramaley was on fire this week. She had great voice for calling the ball when she had a good play for her team Sandy Balls! She was Miss Loosy Goosy who was willing to dig and dive for any volleyball coming her way. Megan also had very powerful serves that earned her team many points for their 3-0 win! Megan, you are truly an amazing volleyball player!

Kerry put her heart on the line tonight knowing it was playoff time. You could obviously tell she wanted to win but kept a happy and spunky attitude towards her teammates which was great to see. But it was her play that made her the player of the week. Kerry was perfect on her serves and was just as perfect on her bumps. The best part was her effort on balls that were unreachable to many. Countless times Kerry would make a full out dive, hitting the ball with one arm giving her team a chance to send the ball back over. Kerry had it all working tonight. Underdog athletes beware! We have a up and comer coming to a net near you!
