WeWork Kicks them home
On the first day its hard to get the feel for the game! WeWork was down 3 to 4 all game! They couldnt seem to get across home after the first inning. In the final inning WeWork loaded the bases with 2 outs. Harley got up with the game on his sholders. One more out and they lose, but a base hit would save the game. With all the pressure Harley did more than save the game...he nailed an in park home run claiming victory for WeWork!!

Wall Street Ball-retrievers
Player of the Week honors do not always have to be for on-field heroics. This week, Amy of Wall Street Ballers did us all a favor and retrieved a very hard-to-get ball that went out of bounds it took well over a minute, but Amy's tenacity and determination finally got the ball home. For doing the dirty work and shagging balls, Amy is our player of the week.

Ali earns this week's Player of the Week award for her outstanding pitching effort and her contributions on offense. As the pitcher, she excelled, giving up only 4 runs in 7 innings (a 5.14 ERA in kickball is Cy-Young worthy!) and fielding her position well, handling a couple of tough bunts. On the offensive side, she let it go big time, driving in 2 runs and getting on base every time. Congrats Ali!

WeWork's Player Harley Lewis Makes Game Look Easy
Player of the Week at Denny field, in downtown Seattle, goes to Harley Lewis for out-running his teammate the length of the field and having tremendous power on his kicks. Harley eyed the right field line with kicks going either foul or deep and down the line for extra bases. Great game and Harley Lewis left the park knowing he knocked in almost 7RBIs on his own. With the win and the display of power to kick the ball, Harley Lewis wins Player of the Week.

Pitch Please
Justin rolled up the pants and got to work leading his team to a big win in a very close game. He started it off with a 2 out single in the 3rd for a run kicked in. Then his defense took off and he made a couple great outfield catches in the 4th--one at a full sprint on a high twisting kick for the final out with bases loaded. Then again, when his team needed it most, he made a key 7th inning catch falling into the center field hill to preserve the victory.

Isaac used his speed and just kept running to turn a single into a solo HR. He followed that with a deep blast over the outfielder's head for a true 3-run homerun. He also had a single in 6th and ended up scoring 3 runs with 4 RKI. On D, he was all over the outfield, again using his speed to snare a bunch of catches including a big double play on a solid liner to end the game. All in all a very solid performance on both sides of the ball and a well deserved POTW.

Drew had a great game this week. He would start off the game with a homerun with his first at bat. The ball leapt off his leg and he made it look so effortless. At the next two at bats, drew would make it look even easier going on to kick two triples and driving home multiple runs. Not only was Drew a threat on the offensive side, he also made plays in the outfield. Out of the three outs Drew recorded the best came when he was climbing up the hill in center while falling down to make the out. With playoffs approaching hopefully Drew can continue his hot play

Austin Porter
Austin had a great game of kickball to kickoff the playoffs. With his first at bat he kicked a homerun that absolutely blasted rivaling the homeruns hit by Nelson Cruz at Safeco Field! Later in the game at his third at bat Austin would kick another homerun and drive in more runs than he did at the first at bat! On this day Austin was a two way threat with his great defensive play hawking balls down in center field. The performance was one that should propel the Amholes into contention for the championship game approaching quickly.

WeWork
Harley brought his work boots and ran for a protein bar between the games of his playoff doubleheader. In game 1, a forfeit win, he played some nice center field D and had a couple big kicks playing for the opponent, KickFu, who had to forfeit. In game 2, with the winner going to the championship, he laced up those boots and continued to dominate with his centerfield D and had a couple key monster kicks [when not fouling out] at the plate. With a 1 run lead going into the 7th, Harley launched one over the left field fence for a 2-run HR that ensured victory and a chance at the coveted title.
