Winter Co-ed Volleyball in Bellevue Tuesdays

The first night meeting your teammates can be difficult for some, however That's What She Set! - Indy #V9 meshed together quickly. By the second set they had their groove on, when something unexpected happened.

Erica White started to serve.

Serve after serve, Ace after ace, she was a machine! 9 unanswered serves threw the Indy Team into a lead that could not be caught.

The final set Erica brought out her impressive digs, sets, and blocks. And through all this she kept a smile on her face with classy sportsmanship. I suggest you take a moment to meet Erica when you play her.

She's a True Underdog.

Mandy earns this week's Player of the Week award for being an incredible leader and a great captain for her team. Being on an Indy team isn't always the easiest thing, it usually takes weeks for the team to mesh and play as one cohesive unit, but this team has found it's mojo and Mandy is a huge reason. Giving great advice after every point, cheering on her team (and the opposing team!), Mandy shows she really knows how to lead. Great job out there guys, it was a tough battle with a very skilled team!

Volleybrawlers are looking to repeat as champions for the Bellevue league. They show up every week and compete but they also have time in between for a whole lot of fun. Arjang has a very enthusiastic approach to the game. Though he is as skilled as anyone on the court, Arjang makes sure that his whole team is having as much fun as he is. His fun loving attitude seems to really connect this team and I can see their chemistry taking them on another run for a championship.
