Storming Their Way to the League Championship
Awesome display of defense and offense pave the way for hard fought victory

The semi-final game between the Storm and the C-Hawks was a lesson in team work and determination. The Storm rolled to a 33 to 4 victory setting themselves up for a shot at the league title. The Storm carried that momentum over into the championship game with the Bad Newz Bears leading by 6 runs after the 2nd inning. The Bad Newz Bears battled back scoring 8 runs in the 4th inning and only trailed by 1 run heading into the 5th inning. The Storm responded strongly in the bottom of the 5th scoring another 4 runs to go ahead by 5 runs. The Bad Newz Bears only mustered 1 run in the 6th and needed 4 runs to tie and 5 runs to pull ahead. Very strong pitching and defense by the Storm put the finishing touch on what would be one of the most exciting league championship games in Underdog history. Holding the Bad Newz Bears to no runs in the top of the 7th put the game away for good.
