In an all around team performance (Including Cheer Squad), the Saints proved to be too powerful to be stopped. Led by great pitching and timely put outs at third to save multiple runs from Luke and a 5 run bottom of 1st inning, the Saints looked like a team that could compete at the major league kickball level. It will be interesting to see what this team does as a follow-up...
Luke had a completely dominant game on the offensive side of the ball. He kicked 2 monster shots that cleared the right field wall and had a 3rd home run that sailed over the outfielders. He was 5 for 5 with at least 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
The Saints put it all on the line this week and it came through their defense. Paul F led this week's effort with a diving catch in the outfield. Some how Paul did not let that ball touch the ground. This inspired similar diving heroics in the field for Saints. This spectacular play, along with Paul's 3 run HR allowed the Saints to pull out the victory. Great job Paul and great job Saints!
Jordan had an amazing offensive performance going 6 for 6 at the plate. This included a huge 3-run homerun and a total of 8 RBI's. In the field he was all over the field making great catches including a double play that ended an opponents rally.
