Player of the week goes to Caroline Soules of the Bizaballers. Caroline earned the award with her excellent kicking. Whether she was bunting or swinging away, the ball ended up in the perfect spot. The defense could not find the answer, as Caroline made it on base after every at bat. To top it all off she even scored a couple runs. Great game Caroline!

Saints
Jordan had an amazing offensive performance going 6 for 6 at the plate. This included a huge 3-run homerun and a total of 8 RBI's. In the field he was all over the field making great catches including a double play that ended an opponents rally.

Straight Ballin'
Was impressive on the offensive side of the ball with some big kicks, including a monster 3 run homerun and a big triple down the line. Also had a key kick in the bottom of the seventh to help his team come back from 2 runs down to end the game in a tie.

Aaron Gooze
ClearPoint
ClearPoint had many players who could of earned player of the week, but Aaron stood out by far. He made many impressive catches in the outfield, helping to shut down Redfin's offense. But his crowning achievement was his monstrous 3 run home run that flew over the outfielders' heads and left no doubt who was the best player on the field on Thursday. Well done!

Flowers By Irene squeaks out the win!
Flowers By Irene won a nail biter of a game this week. Blake B made the difference for his team. Not only did Blake make great defensive plays at Shortstop, but he also had the two runs that made the difference. Blake B ended up with a 2 run Home Run for the win. It was a great game, and a great job by Blake and Flowers By Irene! Congratulations!

Grand Slam Master
Indy team makes it a game
Eric R is our player of the week. He and his team made it a competitive game against their opponents, PN on the Mound. Eric was all over the field playing 1st base and was an out machine. Eric also contributed with a Grand Slam. The kick blasted everyone home going over the fence in right center field. These four runs made it a close game, but in the end they just came up short. The performance that Eric and his team put on was just impressive and deserves some recognition as our player of the week. Great job Eric! Great job Drunken Strangers!

Justin lead the charge in both games for the Bizaballers, but stood out in game 2. His 2 home runs were the difference in the game as the Bizaballers edged out Refin in a tight game. Justin was also steady in the field making some key defensive plays.

Heating Up For Playoffs!
This weeks honors go to the squad of Flowers By Irene. The whole squad played great in their double-header putting up a total of 23 runs. The were on lockdown on defense as well turning 6 double plays in their games, frustrating their opponents with outstanding defense. While only allowing 7 runs on the night, their high octane offense along with their stingy defense, makes them this weeks Team of the Week!

Saints Pull Ahead in a Close One
Diving for it!
The Saints put it all on the line this week and it came through their defense. Paul F led this week's effort with a diving catch in the outfield. Some how Paul did not let that ball touch the ground. This inspired similar diving heroics in the field for Saints. This spectacular play, along with Paul's 3 run HR allowed the Saints to pull out the victory. Great job Paul and great job Saints!
Emily is the player of week this week as she turned in an enormous double play keeping Redfin in the game and scored a big run during a rally in the bottom of the sixth. Great job Emily!
Eric is this weeks player of the week for his important role for Superhyperfunkick. He hit two home runs over the head of the left fielder scoring 2 runs each time. He also provided solid defense in Left leading his team to the finals. Great job Eric!
Luke had a completely dominant game on the offensive side of the ball. He kicked 2 monster shots that cleared the right field wall and had a 3rd home run that sailed over the outfielders. He was 5 for 5 with at least 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
In the "NIT" version of the championship, Ricky played the game as though it was for all of the marbles. In his first at bat, he cleared the right field fense for a true home run. And in the final inning with the scored tied, he set the table by kicking a double off the fence and eventually scored the game winning walk-off run in the bottome of the 7th inning.
