This week's player of the week goes to Ellen Chesley of the Bada Bings. Ellen "the Roadrunner" Chesley, who brings tunes to each and every game for all to enjoy (thank you), was unstoppable against the Head Hunters. There might have been one, maybe two attempts, to try and throw out the speed demon, but none were successful. Suspicious of her speed, the umpire inspected her shoes to make sure they were regulation and to also, make sure their were no boosters attached...sure enough...shoes passed the test. Way to show off that speed, Ellen! Good luck in Midcore next season!!!
This week's player of the week goes to Mat Riddle of the Bada Bings. How many ways can Mat's team thank him for an awesome double header he played? The list is long but here's a few reasons why Mat should be appreciated. For one, he brought his kick a#$ brother who got on base pretty much all the time. Two, he gives it 110% especially in Left field where he caught 1 out of 10 fly balls, which may not sound like a good record but 10% is only 1 zero away from 100. And last but not least, he makes it fun! If the Bada Bings lost 10 to 9 in the championship game where the winning team would take home $100K, he'd still be smilin' and laughin' and spreadin' the cheer. And that's exactly what Kickball is all about! You da man, Mat!
