This week's player of the week goes to Krista Lund of Balls and Dolls. Krista and her team Balls and Dolls are so intimidating that in their first game, the opposing team didn't show. That's what hittin the gym 7 days a week will do. Thanks for an awesome season, Balls and Dolls....you were great!!!!
This week's player of the week goes to Ian Dunleavy of the Balls and Dolls. Ian and the Balls and Dolls played a double header in which both Ian and his team showed incredible improvement. Ian, in his first match was putting a leg on the ball but it just wasn't falling. During his second game, he was placing the ball perfectly, reaching the base off of a third, and a double. Who knows what the future will hold for this slugger but i'm guessing it's gonna be...wait for it....AWESOME! Great job out there, Ian!
This week's player of the week goes to Peter Shifflette of Balls and Dolls. It was a nail biter going into the 7th inning against their opponent Kicked Last. Tied 6 to 6, Peter was the first at bat in the 7th. He got on base by kicking a single to left field. A few hits later, Peter was off to the races from third to score the winning run. Amazing effort by this young kickballer...definite ALL-STAR! Great job, Peter
