Summer Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Sundays

This week in the Sunday co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium the player of the week is Dominik Jones of the Crazy Maniacs. Dominik helped out his team with amazing defense and kept their opponents scoreless in a 28-0 victory. In addition to his defense and interception, Dominik also had 2 touchdowns and showed great all-around hustle. Good job Dominik!

This week in the Co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Sundays the player of the week is Alysia Williams of Whack-A-Mole-Adventure-Squad. Alysia had a great day on offense racking up 8 catches and a touchdown. More impressive, however, is how she got her touchdown. After a pass was tipped Alysia caught the ball between her knees, grabbed it, evaded two tackles and ran all the way to the endzone. What a play! Great job Alysia!

This week in the co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Sundays the player of the week is Sam Chamberlain of Who's Your Daddy? Sam played well with 2 interceptions and a touchdown, and most importantly kept his composure and kept playing hard in this close game against Big Ass which had 3 touchdowns scored in the last minute! Sam helped his team earn the victory in the end 42-37. Good job Sam!

It was championship week this week in the co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Sundays, and the player of the week is Brian Sweeney of the Softcore Champion Cheese Heads. Brian was nominated as player of the game for both the semifinal and final game by his teammates, and had 5 touchdown passes in each game. In addition, he showed tremendous hustle and heart in the semifinal game which went into double overtime. He won the game for his team by running in a 1 point conversion after Practice All-Americans had already scored, and then helped them earn the title right afterwards. Great job Brian!
