The championship game was highlighted by great defense by both teams. Both teams swallowed up anything hit to them, or around them keeping the bases vacant for most of the game. But later in the game it was the "Dirt Devils" that heated up with the bats, and were able to get the go ahead runs. Just like their season had gone, they were a bunch of players brought together early in the season and continued to gel, and play like a team. Starting the play-offs as the 8th seed, they played more games then anyone, and battled form the cellar to the main-stage. Like the name of the league "Underdog Sports", this team showed the true colors of the league, and created the true underdog story!! Great job Dirt Devils!!
