Summer Co-ed Softball at Greenlake Sundays

This weeks player of the week goes to Kyle Uphold. His play helped his team in a very close game with "The Brew Crew". The final score was 10 to 8, and went into the 8th inning. Kyle made excellent plays at short-stop, and hit the ball well clearing the bases. Great job Kyle, and great job to both teams for a great game by both!!

In the closest game of the day between two great teams, our player of the week goes to Zahra Young of " The Rancheros". They played a great game agains the "Dirt Devils", who made them earn their win. It was a one run game the whole game, and both teams did nothing but improve as the innings dropped. Going into the 7th it was a 5 to 5 game, and with Zahra's play at second base not letting anything get past her, and success on the bases, she helped her team win the game by one run. Great job to Zahra, as well as both teams in this game for playing so well!!

Coming up in the bottom of the 7th, Collin knew that it was all up to him. The see-saw game came down to him with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th. Apparently Collin is built to handle to pressure as he stroked a single to put his team up and put the game away for the Beernutsw.

This weeks player of the week goes to Camille Adams!! She pitched 2 back to back games, and waverd little. When the pressure mounted she dialed in and pitched like a pro!! She was able to rack up a few K's, one being a game winning Strike-out, in a very back and forth gfame!! Great job Camille!!
