The Mets Are The Champs!
Seattle Metropolitan CU Victorious in Championship.

The Mets' bats came alive in the championship game for 11 runs in the first two innings and they never looked back. Thanks to some great pitching and solid defense, the Mets were able to silence the potent offense of the number one seeded and previously undefeated Progressively Drunk. Matt Grayson of Seattle Metropolitan CU was player of the game due to some highlight reel defense as he ran down two hits in particular which would have gotten down for extra bases normally, but ended up being game breaking outs.

These playoffs were also marked by an incredible triple play!!! In Progressively Drunk's qualifying game Goat Rodeo hit what looked to be a sure single, but Casey Rice made a great break on the ball & an even better catch. He then fired the ball over to his brother Brad Rice at first base who caught the runner in a force out. Brad then threw an on-the-money toss to home plate where Kristin Cordova tagged out a runner trying to score on the play. Unbelievable!
