Ball So Hard- Indy #1, Maddababy, PhilanthroKicks2012, SwitchPoint
Aaron Burke
ClearPoint
Aaron Burke dreamed of this day since he was a little kid. With the game on the line in the bottom of the seventh, Aaron came tp the plate. His team was behind by two runs and down to their last out. Aaron mustered all the power in his leg to belt a three run walk off home run to give his team, ClearPoint, the win against the mighty Raindawgs in a slugfest. Aaron keep up the clutch kicking.

The Legs Catch
Ball So Hard- Indy #1
Not every day do you see someone catch a kickball between their legs, but that's exactly what Laura Muller of Ball So Hard pulled off this past week. The opposing batter blasted the ball out to left field, surely thinking Triple...or possibly even Home Run. Well he forgot about Laura's knees, which she used to snag the ball just before it hit the ground. Admittedly her spectacular legs catch came after dropping it with her hands, but she still got the job done. For your incredible leg dexterity you're our Player of the Week Laura! Congrats!

Colin Morgan-Cross
Raindawgs
With the fear of a Zombie Apocalypse in recent news Colin is one guy I'd like to have on my side. He was a Zombie slayer out there. He made sure the no Zombies made it on base with a ton of putouts in the outfield. He also blasted a homerun to help solidify his team's victory. Great job Colin!

Darin P
ClearPoint
Darin pitched a great game. He was getting players to foul out left and right. He also pegged a runner trying to make it to 1st on a bunt. Darin also helped his own cause out by blasting a homerun. But what really earned him POTW is he helped pick up the field after the game was over. Thanks Darin!

Crystal Cappuccio
The Zombies
In her kickball debut Crystal showed out. She didn't show the "First Game Jitters" if she even had them at all. She stepped up to the plate and got on base like an old pro. Just about everytime up she got on base. Crystal showed that she could catch too. At shortstop, she stood her ground and caught a ball that could have been trouble. But the best part was the celebration jump and ball spike that made it great. Nice first game Crystal!

Emma Lance
Team Outer Space
Emma Lance had a masterful game when her team, Team Outer Space, needed it the most. Facing the first place, Maddababy, Emma and Team OUter Space wanted to show they are one of the top teams in the league. Emma lead the team on defense by making gold gloves plays at first base. Team Outer Space followed Emma's lead on offense by providing clutch kicking to produce the needed runs to win. With Emma's leadership, outer space is the ceiling for Team Outer Space.

Alejandro Veliz
Maddababy
Alejandro had one of those games where it seemed like everything was going right for him. He started off the game with an outstanding kick in the outfield where he drove in two runs and missed on a third when he was thrown out at home on a questionable call. His kick helped ignite Maddababy's offense that had been enemic up to that point. Determined to prove he could kick a homerun on his next at bat Alejandro belted a kick into the outfield that left no doubt that it was a homerun with two more RBIs. Alejandro finished the game going 3 for 4, his only out was due to a sensational catch by the first baseman from Maddababy's opponent. Alejandro lead the team with seven RBIs and a homerun to help Maddababy to much deserved win.
Ball So Hard- Indy #1 forfeited to Team Outer Space.

Lindsay Beukhof
Team Outer Space
Lindsay helped bring her team to an out of this world undefeated finish. Her efforts on both the offensive and defensive ends this week, making spectacular grabs in the field and getting on base nearly every time, aided in securing this amazing feat. Not the least of her team accomplishments was a light-hearted and fun attitude. Lindsay's team loyalty could be seen in her requests that each team be referred to by their full names every time, rather than just their boring colors. Congratularions Lindsay and Team Outer Space.
Sometimes even the best players do something that surprises everyone even themselves. That happened to Shawn this week. First time up he crushed a 2-run homer to deep center. As Shawn was walking up for his second at bat, he remarked "I can't kick one farther than last time." Maybe he was trying to prove himself wrong because he proceeded to blast the ball past the outfielders for a 3-run homer. Impressive show Shawn!
Player of the week goes to Darin Pope for his brilliant pitching during the championship game. Pope kept the kickers on their toes with his quick delivery and ability to paint the corners. He racked up a couple strikeouts at crucial times to stop rallies before they could materialize. He was also fielding bunts with agility and using his cannon arm to gun out runners. Great job Pope!
