In the second game of this very windy evening it was Code Blue squaring off against Challengers. After having a tough game last week in a lopsided loss, Challengers were all business right out of the gate on this one eventhough seemingly half their team entered the game injured. Thursday the Challengers decided to return the favor and notched a decisive 14-1 victory over Code Blue! In this great victory for Challengers no player was gutting it out more than Joelyne Barich who not only got on base nearly every single time she was up, but also came on to pinch run the entire game for her injured teammate. Now that's a lot of running! Joelyne took full advantage of some awesome bunts to get on base, placing them in such a way that the defense didn't even bother to throw towards first because she was already there! Congrats to Challengers on a great victory and to Joelyne Barich - Player Of The Week!!!
