Raptor Death Monkey’s semi-finals match turned into an hour long warm up session after their opponents failed to show up. They took the hour to work on specific skills as well as playing a fun game of 3 on 3. When Doing it For A Bump showed up they lazily got warmed up (if at all) and got the game started as their final 2 players walked in the door. As the match got started everyone on the court had high spirits and I could tell it was going to be a fun match up. With all kinds of long rallies, exciting saves and even a two point shot from a shanked pass both sides of the court were laughing and having a blast. Of course this is still a game of competition and as a championship match people’s emotions were definitely present. In game one RDM went on a great run at the end, but it didn’t quite close the gap. They didn’t stop fighting in game two, however they were short a player and that extra space on the court kept opening up and Doing it For the Bump found it to be their 7th man. Congrats Doing it For the Bump!
During the course of all three games tonight Os got very friendly with the back line. He served more than any other player that night and he did it well. They weren't anything too hard, but they were well placed and had a little bit of a edge to them.
