Winter Co-ed Volleyball at Seattle Central Tuesdays

With the Captain of Balls In! gone, Sam stepped up to lead his team through the night. Positivity exudes from him, on and off the court. He continuously cheered on his team, whether in a moment of victory or not.

After their game, a team forfeited the next hour. Few players could stick around, however Sam stepped up right away! Throughout the exhibition game, he put in effort, and still got others (on both sides of the net) to laugh. Sam is a True Underdog and a fantastic Player of the Week!

While these specific words didn't come out of David's mouth many other encouraging words did. On top of being a big contender at the net, David plays a big role in motivating his team, a necessary piece to the winning puzzle.

This weeks player of the game goes out to yet another inspirational "cheerleader." Throughout the while match I frequently saw Krista cheering on her teammates, laughing and just enjoying the heck out of life. At one point I over heard her say "we're here for the fun!"

On top of all that goodness, Krista also brings some mad skills to her team. I watched her throw herself at distant balls to save them from a rally ending touch to the floor. Unfortunately Krista's team did not win the game, but she still walked out of the gym with a smile.
