Fall Co-ed Softball at Hamlin Park Wednesdays

Player of the Week is awarded to Dawn Moser! Dawn pulled off an amazing play as catcher, who fielded a swinging bunt and threw the runner out at first! In a game that came down to the last inning, this defensive play stalled an offensive rally by the Green Machine and helped the Wunderman Thunderman to victory! Congrats goes to Dawn Moser!

Player of the Week is awarded to Green Machine's hot corner defender Matt Buchanan. Matt flashed his leather several times during Wednesday's match against Karate Explosion and their hot bats. In the fourth inning, Matt made a solid backhanded grab on a groundball down the line making the out. However, the play that clinched this weeks award happened late in the game. With two outs and runners in scoring position, Matt pulled an Adrian Beltre worthy, full extention diving catch in the hole for the out! Outstanding defense Matt! and congratulations on being awarded this weeks Player of the Week!!!

Player of the Week is awarded to "R" Mateys own Eric Smith. Eric had the privelidge of playing the hot corner wed night defending third base against the hard hitting Green Machine. It was, however, Eric's own offensive performance that earned him Player of the Week with 4 hard-hit basehits up the middle! Great job Eric!!!

On a beautiful night for a ball game, Steve Olsen lead the charge for the Bank and Office Interiors JOKERS with awesome glove work AND to add, a great night at the plate going 3 for 3! Nice work Steve!
