Summer Gentlemens Flag Football at Juanita HS Tuesdays

This past Tuesday night, the game between Team Ramrod and The Coalition turned out to be quite a thriller. Playing the role of hero was Matthew Chambers of Team Ramrod. In their 34-33 come from behind victory, Chambers chipped in with two touchdowns and one interception.

Air Force One definitely took flight on Tuesday night. In a 50-20 runaway victory, Ricky Hyson led the way by throwing seven touchdown passes in a flawless performance. Air Force One has proven that they are a force to be reckoned with and will be heard from the rest of the season.

This week in the Gentleman's flag football league at Juanita High School on Tuesdays the player of the week is Steve Stimpson of the 96ers. Steve had a great game right from the start with multiple long runs and evaded tackles as quarterback. His throwing game was also on point with 6 touchdown passes, and to cap it off he had an almost full field interception returned for a touchdown. Steve was instrumental in the 96ers' victory over the Cunning Linguists 47-0. Great job Steve!

This week was the first week of playoffs for the Gentleman's flag football league at Juanita High School on Tuesdays, and the player of the week is John Ellis of the Cougs. At quarterback John led his team to back to back victories in loser-out games, including a 51-20 win over the top seeded Little Giants where he had 6 touchdown passes. After knocking off the #1 seed John and the Cougs are ready for whatever the next week of playoffs throw at them. Great job John!
