It was a beautiful night for kickball in the M.L.T. as Suck My Kick took on the formidable Short Bus! This was a huge defensive battle going into the last inning tied at 4-4. That's when Brett VonHoffmann of Suck My Kick went on a tear with some very aggressive baserunning. Brett forced an error and turned a single into a triple. With Brett standing at third with no outs he came in to score the eventual game winner in an exciting 6-4 victory! Big congrats to Suck My Kick on their victory and to Brett VonHoffmann - Player Of The Week!!!

This weeks player of the week goes to Asa Ellis of the Dirt Squirrels. Asa has brought his team to a whole new level, and chalked up a win, yes a win for the Dirt Squirels. He can kick, run, and with his speed at third no-one gets a free ride to first-base. He also had a amazinng catch at third, that he finished off with a glorious tumble routine that would have scored high in the olympic floor routine. He is taking the Squirrels a new place, the win cloumn. Great job Asa!

Player of the Week goes to Ryan Arp from "We're Huge in Japan." Playing against the tough Pelotas Azul, lefty Ryan Arp hit a game-winning Grandslam in a 5-run bottom of the 5th inning to go up 5-2. The Pelotas Azul could not answer in the 6th or 7th inning, giving We're Huge in Japan the victory! Well done Ryan !!!

This week's Player of the Week is awarded to Suck My Kick's Dennis Ma. In the second game of their double header, Suck My Kick found themselves trailing undefeated We're Huge in Japan 3-1 in the top of the 6th inning. Dennis Ma stepped up and delivered a big two out game-tying 2-RBI single!!! Not only was Dennis the game's hero, but fittingly, it was his 26th birthday!!! Congrats to a well played good spirited game by both teams, and well done to Player of the Week Dennis Ma!

This weeks player of the week goes to CJ Overton of "Pelotas Azul". Her play at first was all star action, fielding tough catches, and making big plays. It was her performance from the plate that really earned her the honor. She kicked bombs in the field and racked up 7 RBI's. She played awesome, and is a very good sportsman as well. Great job CJ!!

This weeks player of the week goes to Chris Geiger of "Pelota Azul". He played a very solid right-center, catching everything in his area. It was his kicking at the plate that earned his team a championship, and himself POTW! In a final score of 6 to 4 over "Short Bus", his base clearing kick deep to right bringing in 3 runs, and putting him on third ready to come home! It was that play that put his team ahead, and chalked up the W! Great job Chris!!
