Give us your lunch money!, Ninja Turtles, Plan B, Second Fiddle
POTW: Dave Hall
Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves
The game was a roller coaster of offensive surges. Sure enough, every time the Zeroes would mount a comeback, and come within a few runs, Dave would get up at the bottom of the inning with runners on, and clean house with a booming kick to right field. On defense, he was the hoover vaccum at first base, sucking in every ball that came his way.
Well done ole chap...
Honey Nuts Mcneerio, Kick Me, Ninja Turtles, One Hundred Zeroes
POTW: Katy Hand
Plan B
The player of the week goes to Katy Hand. She worked hard to organize her team and have them ready for action. She gave it her all, and has battle wounds to prove it! She Definitely earned the player of the week! Way to get down and Dirty Katy..
Give us your lunch money!, Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves, Kick Me, Ninja Turtles
POTW: Mehul Sutariya
One Hundred Zeroes
This guy had an amazing kick and hustle. He was always on base, always advanced the runner (without having to sacrifice), advanced 2 runs in and had 5 unassisted outs (pop flies to center field, left and right sides). He was ALL OVER the outfield, even covering second base a time or two during infield plays.
Give us your lunch money!, Ninja Turtles, One Hundred Zeroes, Second Fiddle
POTW: Audrey Bilczo
Honey Nuts Mcneerio
first kicker up, Audrey hit the dirt hard. She rubbed a little dirt on it and came back in the following innings better than ever. Audrey demonstrated strong base running skills and was able to score for her team.
Kick Me, Ninja Turtles, One Hundred Zeroes, Second Fiddle
POTW: Mike Collins
Plan B
Mike provided two key RBIs in a tight one run game. After his team being down for six innings, he said that was enough and tool matters into his own hands. With one out on count, he delivered a ball into the outfiled which to two runners coming in and ending the game.

POTW: Mehul Sutariya
One Hundred Zeroes
Someone must have told Mehul before the game: Go Hard or Go Home, because Mehul was EVERYWHERE! The ball was kicked to right field, he was there. A kick up the middle, he was there. He seemed to be involved in every play on defense. The rock of a Hundred Zeros. A few innings he killed big rallies with rock star catches.
On offense, he was steady and confident.
In the end, when the dust cleared, his team had come up short in the score, but he was definitely not short of heart.
And had the broken glasses to prove it, great game Mehul!
Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves, Honey Nuts Mcneerio, Ninja Turtles, Plan B
POTW: David Auckland
Second Fiddle
Although Dave had a bum leg from a previous injury, that didn't stop him from showing the other team how it's done. Kicking with his left foot (he's right footed) he hit a grand slam. What a guy!
Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves, Honey Nuts Mcneerio, Ninja Turtles, Plan B
POTW: John Jansen
Give us your lunch money!
John had an awesome attitude, always running for the ball. He made 4 attempts at catching foul balls from first, getting two of them. He also single handedly made double-plays at first two innings in a row!
Farish was an offensive powerhouse, leading Honey Nuts Mcneerio to a 14-13 victory at the U-District Playfield on Tuesday. He kicked two home run blasts and drove in an incredible six runs. His first home run was only a two run shot, but in the fifth he emptied the bases with a long grand slam to right field. Congratulations to Chris and Honey Nuts Mcneerio.
Player of the Week goes to Sara Lussy from team Kick Me. In the first inning of the 3rd place game, Sara made an outstanding Willie Mays-like over the shoulder catch in right field!!! although team Kick Me could not pull out the 3rd place victory, this great play easily earns Sara Player of the Week!!! Well done Sara!
