It's great to see Daniel back at First Baptist! He's a great leader for his team as well as those who play there. When warming up, he help orchestrate BOTH teams to efficiently use their time for hitting. It was a joy to witness the Underdog Way in its finest. Yes, his team dominated on the court. Yes, he left before choosing a Player of the Game for his team's victory. He brings people up, and even compliments the other team on their accomplishments. Daniel is extremely deserving of the Opening Night Player of the Week honors. Great job!

Hot damn this girl played awesome tonight! In a heated match up against FOG, Hit That! came away with the win in the final round. What a great game between these two. FOG's hits were pretty strong but no match for Ashley's and the rest of Hit That!'s defense and offense. She was diving for everything with impressive form and grace. Saving balls left and right, she definitely helped her team to victory. Behind every great offense is an even greater defense. Sick job Ashley! Way to get the win and keep the peace. Good luck next week!

Chelan made this an easy decision after her great performance tonight. When time got tough and a point was needed, Chelan stepped up and hammered the ball down. She was on fire! Time after time the setter would just serve it up for Chelan to hit down and she damn near delivered every single time. Against a tough defensive opponent, Chelan kept putting on the pressure as she flew above the net to spike the ball with great velocity.
