POTW: Jon Gentry
OSKA 2
In our closest games of the night, Jon Gentry led OSKA 2 in scoring. Jon's stout 176 and 159 helped OSKA 2 salvage 1 point on the night.

Jon's cumulative score of 335 was not only the top score on Lanes 9 & 10, but he also outscored his counterparts on OSKA 1.

POTW: Kisten Stack
POTW: Kisten Stack
Karate Explosion
Our Player of the Week Award go to Kirsten Stack, who bowled a league-high 197 in the first game. Though bowling such a nice score, she played it cool. Ironically, her team won the Game 2 when her score wasn't that high. Perhaps her performance on Game 1 rallied her troops for Game 2?

And with a team name of "Karate Explosion," we're expecting big things again next week for Ninja Night.

Theme Night - Ninja Night
POTW: Matt Empson
POTW: Matt Empson
OSKA 1
Crazy 88 is our player of the night. Straight out of Kill Bill this ninja was the only ninja that stood out in the crowd. Sacrificing bowling attire with a black suit and tie, along with a eye mask, and stealthy ninja like moves on the lane. This ninja also tallied up 283 pins for his team, showing style and game. Thanks Matt!@

POTW: Gwen Verna
POTW: Gwen Verna
Lo Siento
Gwen had one goal at the beginning of the night- to win a premium Underdog t-shirt. She had one coupon which she had saved from last week, and needed two more to have the requisite amount. Well, halfway through the second game, Gwen was already wearing her new shirt on the lanes on her way to a score of 188. Now that's getting what you want.

POTW: Barry Nishimura
3F Masters
Barry bowled a very strong 199 and and 148 on the night. What really stood out is that Barry closed all 10 frames in Game 1. On the night we had 6-8 bowlers who closed 8 frames, but to stay focused enough to close all 10 frames is quite impressive!

You can't argue with results, folks. With the season on the line, Barry rolled games of 203 and 192 to give his team it's umpteenth championship and his umpteenth POTW honor. What can we say, except that we were not at all influenced by drinks being bought for us...
