Fall Co-ed Kickball at Lower Woodlands Wednesdays

Kevin displayed a mastery of the "kick to firstbase" play. Absolutely shutting down the bunting game of his opponents.
Both squads were awed as Kevin decimated the moral of the female bunters from Roger's Mom. Amazing defense!

Erin Belling has been a mainstay in Big Turkey Bowling at Imperial Lanes for years now, but this was the first time she tried her hand at kickball. Erin brought the same competitive edge from past bowling POG performances into the game, but was more excited to just get out and play. Getting out there with the already star-laden Sparkle Motion up against the always tough Mooseknucklers was the perfect opportunity for her to shine. Her offense was good but her defense was stellar, as she made two huge catches in the outfield- one a diving one to save at least a couple of runs from scoring. This week in the Fall Co-Ed Kickball at Lower Woodlands Wednesdays league Chris Drew of Sparkle Motion helped his team win over Happy Hour Heroes with excellent defense. Playing 3rd base and shortstop Chris most notably caught 2 line drives and one curving fly ball at crucial times to either end an inning or fight off a comeback by the opposing team! Good job Chris!

The big hero of the week has to be Tyler Besecker. Tyler stepped up to the plate needing to make something happen with two outs, trailing by two runs, with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th. Besecker proceeded to kick a two-run double that sent the game into extra innings, allowing Cannon Balls to find themselves and come away with a thrilling 14-13 championship victory.
