Spring Co-ed Kickball at Ballard Playfield Sundays

El Capitan, Tim, started his teams' hardcore campaign with a dominating performance on both sides of the ball.
On defense, Tim was a staltwart, stopping anything that came his way, and keep the opposing kickers off balance with some deft pitching. Play of the Day was when he "out showed" a kicker who used some fancy footwork, by doing a little globetrotter action himself to get the force out. Touche...

In a great fun-filled game full of theme songs, pink boas, modified uniforms and even some kickball, it was team Jesus Warned You About Us scoring their first self dubbed "non-loss" of the season! In a rare game ending in a tie it was Jake Rutger making the type of great defensive plays usually reserved for Sportscenter highlights. That and his all around team-inspiring hustle earns Jake our Player of the Week!
