Mike Bersos Leads Onslaught
In a game where dominance was established early on because of hot plate action, the Barking Geckos lead by Mike Bersos absolutely dominated on Sunday at North Acres. Mike batted 4 for 4 with 2 deep base clearing bombs a triple and a double driving in 6 runs and scoring 4. He set the tone early on and the Geckos followed his lead scoring 9 runs in 4 of the 5 innings that they batted in. Great job Mike and great job Geckos!!

Ryan Nakano's Offensive Prowess Powers Buckleys
On Sunday at North Acres against The Crows, Buckley's In Belltown lead by Ryan Nakano absolutely crushed the Crows. Ryan batted 4 for 4 with 2 inside the park home runs driving in 7 runs and scoring 4 runs to help his cause. he also had a triple and a double to add to his stats for the day. Awesome game Ryan!!

Natalie Mastrew Leads The Way
On Sunday there was talk from Pizza The Action warning their players to keep it away from left field and for good reason. Natalie's performance in left field was a series of highlight reels to go along with some damn good plate work. When Buckely's needed a big play and needed to kill a threat, it was Natalie to the rescue.Great game Natalie and can't wait to see you in action again.

Double win in a Double-header
This weeks honors go to the solid play of the whole That's what SHE Said!! squad. SHE said had a double header and played great defense in the fist only allowing 3 runs, while their offense put up 20. In their 2nd game they ran into a very solid opponent that had them down through 4 innings but they battled back. SHE said took the lead in the 5th and extended their lead to 7 runs by the bottom of the 7th. The Geckos made a late game rally and were looking good as they put up 6 quick runs to pull within 1 run, and the game ended with a very close play at the plate. With the base runner with lots of speed tried to extend a play to get the tie but was tagged out right before she could touch the plate and That's What SHE Said!! hung on I a very close victory. Great games and good luck in playoffs!

Natalie Mastren On Fire
In a very tight preliminary game between the Barking Geckos and Buckley's, this high scoring game was tied 17 all until the 5th inning when Natalie steps to the plate with 3 on and rips a line drive to left scoring all three runners and getting a triple out of it. After that the momentum shifted entirely to Buckley's when in the very next inning Natalie struck again. With 2 runners on she rips another shot down the left field line scoring 2 more runs and all the separation Buckley's needed they had. This ultimately led to a big win and an advancement to the championship game. Great job Natalie!!
