Lower Woodland #4 - Thursday [FALL 04]

In a normal circumstance, the player of the game goes to a player off of the winning team, let alone the player of the week. But one thing stood out about Greer on this cold fall night. His plays and his sportsmanship made it so as soon as his first game was done, the whole winning team came to me and asked the umpire to make him player of the game. Something is to be said for that my friends. For those who weren't there, Greer put on a Willie Mays Hayes type of performance. He made a diving over the shoulder catch in left field, a twisting and turning catch in left center that the average player would never be able to make and never once gloted about any of it. That's a winner in our books.. Congrats Greer.
