Fall Midcore Volleyball in Ballard Tuesdays

While the trip turned header didn't stay in play, Amy did manage to make the opponents laugh so hard that they won the next point! It was quite an impressive move if only we were playing soccer. Thankfully Amy's volleyball skills were just as impressive helping her team take home a 2-1 Win over the Judge Judys.

Congratulations, Amy and Spiked Punch! If last night was any indication of how the season is going to go, we are in for a fun season!

Robert was hitting anything and everything he could get his hands on. He made a huge effort to support his team. One moment I would see him going for a deep dig and the next moment I would see him diving to the other side of the court to save the ball, He was indeed a super star. He may not have hit every ball but he had some spectacular hits to be proud of. Robert continued to work hard through every game and I hope to see more of that fantastic effort as the season progresses.

With his "fire-ball-y" serves, at least according to his teammates tonight. After a close win of 26-24 and then a pretty significant loss in game 2, Dave led his team to a big win in round 3 to ensure a W this week. Aside from his serves he always hustles to make the play or save and is a valuable teammate. Congrats Dave!

Sarah was amazing at the net today. She was able to send multiple spikes untouched, scoring most the points for her team. Sarah's defense was also on point as she showed amazing sacrifice diving for balls left and right. Constantly encouraging her team, Sarah engineered her team to a 2-1 playoff victory over Liquid Courage were the higher seed. Great job Sarah! Keep it going next round!
