Spring Co-ed Kickball Downtown Mon/Wed

Yesterday was talks of Ozzie Guilan and his rambles about Fidel Castro, NHL playoffs, season openers for the MLB, but today and for days to come, there will be littlemention of that insignificant garbage. The new sensation, the person, the idol that the kids are talking about NOW is the one and only Tofa McCormick of the ToeJammers. Not only is he a speed demon, but his also a big hitter and an all around awesome guy. During the post game interview, he didn't even act like he was a huge celebrity but a regular person like you and me....so humble!! Definitely a guy you want on your next Kickball team. Great job out there, Tofa!

Briana Wentworth of Fell Swoop's Omar Littles is now on every kickball team's radar as a fearless second baseman. During her game against the SwitchPoint All-Stars, she managed (assisted and unassisted) to rack up a total of 7 outs. On 1 of her 7 outs, she made a top 10 play of the decade w/an unbelievable catch. Keep up the good D, Briana!!

FEAR the collard buttom up shirt! JJ was all business on Monday, repn' some style while playing some awesome kickball. Who knew that a little business casual look could be so intimidating, but somehow it threw the ToeJammers off. 100 style points for JJ!!!

Liz's KB performance on Mondy was nothing short of perfect. Everything that makes a KB player great, she executed to a T...from very effective bunting, to lighening speed, to heads up D. Liz managed to get on base every single at bat, helping her team finish w/an ALMOST victory in their second game of a double header. I'm sure Abby is extremely proud!!! Great job, Liz!

3rd Base was the hot spot Monday night. Good thing Captian Clint (which is a total rip off of Captain America) was there to use his super powers to cool it down. Clint, who had at least 2 outs an inning, was a monster 3rd baseman. On 2 plays, while obeying the encroachment rule, he picked up two grounders and from 3rd, he beat out the runners on foot to get them out. He is definitely an All Star pick for 2012! Nice job out there CAPTAIN CLINT!

Jenny Nguyen is a kickball bunt ARTIST! She combines speed, style, and a perfectly placed light kick to reach base every single time. And eventually her keen kickball sense guides her to the next base and then the next base after that until she reaches the base that is loved and loathed all at the same time: HOME BASE! Excellent work out there, Picasso!
