Summer Co-ed Softball at Northacres Sundays

Talk about getting off to a blistering hot start...when Team Sexxy squared off against Barking Geckos in the 2nd game on Sunday the Geckos hit all 3 of their home runs in the first inning! But not to be outpaced Team Sexxy answered back with two of their own in the bottom of the first & kept one in their pocket for later! From the 2nd inning on Team Sexxy did what most could not in frustrating the Barking Geckos potent offense. Behind the strong pitching of Keith Hile, Team Sexxy was able to put zeros to the Geckos side of the ledger in 3 of the 7 innings. Keith also helped his team's cause by going 4-for-4 from the plate & driving in 4 rbi's. In the end it was Team Sexxy taking down Barking Geckos 23-12 due to the skillful pitching & scorching hot bat of Keith Hile! Congrats to Team Sexxy & Keith Hile, the very deserving Player of the Week!!!

Megan was the star of stars in the first game of Team Sexxy's double header. Megan went 4 for 4 and accounted for 8 of the team's 28 runs by contributing 4 RBIs and scoring 4 runs.

With his daughter's team struggling for players on Saturday, Max (who had just planned on relaxing and taking in a game) was pulled from the stands to be the starting pitcher for the Rabbits. After struggling with his control early on, Max found the strike zone and pitched to contact, inducing multiple ground ball outs and weak pop ups.

Max was also huge at the plate, ripping the first pitch he saw into left center field for a double before finishing 3-3 on the day. Great Job Max!!!

Thad White did what was thought to be the impossible. he went 5 for 5 with 2 homers and 2 doubles while playing in a walking boot to protect his injury. Amazing job Thad Good luck, and speedy recovery.
