Spring Softcore Volleyball at First Baptist Thursdays

Team Tiger Blood came in full force this week with their subs and their red shirts! They had a great time laughing and playing while still keeping it serious. Bob gets special mention due to his unwavering confidence and support for his team while making some spectacular plays of his own. One in particular was a rocket pass off the ceiling where he threw his body to the ground in order to dig it up perfectly! He helped keep Team Tiger Blood competitive and having fun!

The Milliman Mathletes laughed in the face of their double header night by fighting through, and winning, both their matches against tough opponents. Staying focused while having fun seemed easy for the Mathletes on Thursday. Leading the team was Erica with her beastly hitting and ferocious defense. Her tactic to channel her inner-beast-mode scared the other teams and helped the Mathletes fight for their victory!

The Mathletes fought hard to win their match this week and got a strong spark by Kyle in all the games. The force he brought with his hitting could challenge a Southern Storm. He had some great diving saves and stayed consistent throughout the match. Everyone on the team did a great job and definitely worked together great! They were able to have fun and enjoy the night!

All season the Milliman Mathletes have stood out for having fun and playing hard. Maruke has stood out for her incredible defensive skills and talent for staying positive, despite the team winning or losing! Every time someone hit a ball, regardless of how far away it was, Maruke was there to dig it up for her teammates!! Great job all season Mathletes!
