If only I could award "Player of the Week" to a whole team....

What a great night to start a new league...St. Patty's Day! Though there was no structured theme night, it naturally presented itself.

Leigh spent much time at the costume shop carefully selecting green afro wigs, HUGE green sunglasses, shamrock stickers, green beads, etc; all in effort to make sure that her team stood out as the most spirited, and the one's to beat!!!

Not only were they decked out from head to toe, they came ready to eat and drink in style!!! Thanks to Tom for providing green food coloring, so that they (and many other teams) could enjoy "green beer" and to Stephanie for cooking up a pan of appetizingly green rice krispy treats!!!

Can't wait to see what you and your teammates "cook up" next week!!!

Gutter Brawlers
Must have been the "Bunny Power"!

Gutter Brawlers won the spirit prize last season, so I told them that they had to bring it this season....

When they showed up this week, they didn't look like they had anything special planed...until Farron showed up with her bag of tricks!

Farron fully equipped her team with bunny ears; blue for the boys, and pink for the girls, of course and bendable bunny straws for their beer. Being a good sport, Farron even gave a straw to an opposing teammate!!

At the end of the night, Farron had bowled a 125 and claimed it was her best game EVER! I blame it on the bunnies!!

POTW: Stephanie Jordan
Pin Stalkers
Stephanie has been bowling with Underdog for years. If memory serves, she started out with an Indy team, so I'm happy that's she's caught on with a team. According to her, she's been in a bit of a slump, not having a turkey in quite some time. She broke that streak, and then some, racking up four straight strikes in leading her time to a win over Drunken Condors.

I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter
Liz wore the blue in the rainbow, surrounded by a very colorful team.

Bowling the best game of her life, earned Liz player of the Week this week. Liz did not have a single open frame in game one and ended with a whopping 206! Little did she know, she had maxed out the score!

Way to go Liz, can't wait to see what next week brings!

Calvin deserves a shout out after his 80's tribute a few weeks back...Vanilla Ice was back in full effect!!!

What a good sport Calvin has been during the entire league...he has sported Ninja wear, Bunny Ears, A Crown fit for a King, An Elephant Trunk and Mask, only to name a few!!!

But wait Calvin, you aren't done yet...Next week is TV shows!! Can't wait to see how the team dresses you this time!!

Tanqueray and Tab
Wendy had explosive energy this week (and every week). Although her scores were average, one must remember that POTW's are judged more on style and creativity, than overall score. In Wendy's case, a strike or a spare would be followed by a brief but explosive bout of shouting and hopping up and down in place, then the short victory lap around her area high fiving anyone she could find along the path and then... quiet.

Love your energy Wendy! Go Girl
