Indy #1
Indy teams can be interesting creatures. It's like moving to Minnesota from Ohio as an awkward teenager and starting at a new high school-you're walking into a world where everyone knows everyone, and you don't know how you're going to fit in. Painfully detailed analogies aside, I have never seen a team click as quickly as this Indy team-now known as Living on a Spare-did this week. And they're pretty good bowlers-they should make things interesting this season!

Lane Rangers
A lot of really great scores popped up this week. Bryan from Bowling Stones, Jacob from Bowl Movement, and Sharon from 300 all had spectacular scores. But of all the scores, Jason inched ahead of all of them for the week's high score. His team was pretty successful too in a win over The Big LeBOWLskis.

Bowl Movement
Bowl Movement is usually known more for their flashy costumes and Spirit Tickets more than their bowling prowess. And they're actually pretty content with that. But sometimes, they rise up and surprise an unsuspecting team.

That didn't happen this week.

But what did happen was quiet, unassuming Jacob calmly knocked down a 225 in his second game on the heels of a 185 in his first. Certainly wasn't enough to turn the tide, but you gotta respect that performance when you're wearing a Bill Cosby sweater with a popped collar.

POTW: Casey Conroy
POTW: Casey Conroy
300
Okay, here's the problem when you only write your first name on your scoresheet: when it comes time to recognize a personal best on a dominant team, your humble supervisor is stuck trying to remember which Casey is which. And Casey Conroy (or Dunn) had a personal best night with the league's #1 team. Casey Conroy (or Dunn) rolled a personal best 211 in his team's win over always plucky Livin' on a Spare.

So to Casey Conroy (or Dunn, don't beat me up over this), congratulations.

POTW: DuWayne Harris
300
With the match in the balance at the end, DuWayne came up needing to strike out to put the match away for his team. After putting up strikes in his previous two rolls, he quickly picked up the third for his turkey before finishing off BowlSheet with two more to win by a slim 3 pins.

Bowl Movement
There has been another dynasty brewing in our Big Turkey Bowling league. Bowl Movement, while not being deft of bowling skill, have no equals when it comes to elaborate costumes. Dressed in Kill Bill garb, Bowl Movement racked up their fifth straight Spirit Ticket Season Award. Kudos to Betsy and the rest of Bowl Movement for keeping the troops motivated and energetic, while making the league a lot more fun for everybody.
