This game was one for the ages that wouldn't decide a winner until the very end. The Sol Kickers and Just Kickin It were two very determined teams. Just Kickin It would strike first with 7 runs scored in the top of the first inning, but then the Sol Kickers would climb back into it over the next two innings. Going into the top of the seventh inning the Sol Kickers had a three run lead and then Just Kickin It tied it up and that left all the pressure on the Sol Kickers going into the bottom of the seventh. The inning was started off by Scott who got to first and then slid into second on the next hit. Then the ball was kicked and Scott came all the way around from second and slid into home narrowly escaping a throw to win the game. Some people dream about a walk off win in the seventh inning of kickball, but for the Sol Kickers it became reality in their championship win.
