Zootastic
It's only week one, but Zootastic is looking to be a force to be reckoned with. Not only did Rose nail the week's highest score (161), the team also brought home the night's highest team score (538). And they did it all while battling a malfunctioning lane, and a ball return that had an appetite for their bowling balls.

Theme Night - Ugly Sweater Night

When it comes to a theme night like "Ugly Sweater Night", you learn a few things.

1. Argyle sweaters are no longer fashionable.
2. The more dangling things, the better.
3. If you're going to have rabbit fur on your sweater, why NOT have it on your arms?
4. The combination sweater/Snuggie/housecoat/dress is probably either the most comfortable thing on earth, or the most awkward gift ever.

While I disagree vehemently with the first point, when you add in the argyle-clad members of Twitterbugs, they were the team with the most participation, and for that, Twitterbugs, I salute you with your own hashtag.

Zootastic
On a night where Brett Favre literally threw a game away in the clutch, it was Zootastic's Tyler who kept his team in the game and didn't let his team, his state, or his country down. (No, I'm not bitter.) He rolled a 142 and 127 in a rout over 8 Ballers. His 142 was the second highest score of the night!

8 Ballers
Vic Mackey came into Sunday shorthanded. 8 Ballers, enjoying a surplus of talent, offered up their teammate Bryan to make the teams even. A sportsmanly move, one that we like to celebrate here at Underdog. Of course, 8 Ballers' graciousness was short lived, as Vic Mackey rode Bryan to a win in Game 1. So they swapped players for Game 2, but Vic Mackey rode the momentum to a win, as Bryan's efforts for his own team wasn't enough to pick up the win. So while 8 Ballers technically lost, I like to think they won in sportsmanship...and in life.

Liquid Courage
Liquid Courage has had a number of players subbing in for them, but the one constant on the team has been Asia. On this night, the most consistent player on the team turned in a personal best 170 for the night. Not only that, but it was the high score for the entire league. Great job!

Twitterbugs
Kathy, oh Kathy, what a night you had!!!

Twitterbugs and Vic Mackey's Strike Team played a mean game of "9 Pin, No Tap" and Kathy definitely came out victorious, (though Nick from Vic Mackey's did give her a good run for her money.)

Miss Kathy came fully equipped in her skiing duck flannel pj's (even though the snow wasn't falling just yet) ready to bowl! And I tell you, every time I turned around she was after me for another "No Tap" coupon.

In her first game, Kathy only missed strikes in 2 frames and came out with a rockin' total of 225. Way to go!!! Kathy also led her team to the "No Tap" victory and earned them a coupon to come play again!
