Fall Co-ed Volleyball at First Baptist Tues/Thurs

Olin's big hits and digs were needed on Tuesday as his team was low on players and needed his range to pick up a victory in their first match.

Dan's energy helped the team make it through two back to back games and his team spirit carried the team to victory in the first match. Even though they weren't so lucky in the second match, Dan's gusto kept the spirits high.

Brett was a strong leader for his team this week. His consistent serves and great hits helped take his team to victory.

Red Hot Pants were down two players and up against a 6 player team. Even though they only had four players, Dave and his team stayed strong and won one game and only lost by a few points in the other two. It was amazing to see them keep up with the opposing team. They never seemed to lose hope. Dave had great hits and ace serves which helped to keep his team in the running for the win.

Rachel is always enjoyable to have on the court. This week she led her team to a double victory and her consistent serves definitely helped in their win. She was always there to try and get a stray pass or set the ball up for a perfect spike. Rachel is a key member of the Hobo Picnic team.

This time, player of the week goes to the entire team of Flo's Heroes. All season long, every one has showed up, ready to play, and have some fun. This week they came out on top, winning the championship game against Spiking Green. Every player contributed to the game with amazing hits and awesome plays. After participating in volleyball for a year, this has been a true underdog experience, and a worthy victory for them. They have finally done it! Outstanding job to Flo's Heroes!
