POTW: Lelia Tran
POTW: Lelia Tran
Rollin' Splits
This weeks player of the week goes to the performance of Leila Tran. Lelia started the off her groove and nailing down her form. With a midiocre 80 in the first game of the new league, Lelia turned it around and started blowing up pins. With a 60 pin total improvement from game one to game two, chalking up a solid 140 and setting the tone for the rest of the season. Great job Lelia!!

Theme Night - Ugly Sweater Night
POTW: Laura Petersen
POTW: Laura Petersen
Rollin' Splits
This weeks player of the week goes to Laura Petersen for her first game of the night with a 140. Lots more went into this score then just knocking down pins, there is plenty of other elements to the story. Joining her team in the second week after being out of the country, and a little under the weather with her travels, Laura rose to the occasion. With her cup of water, and lack of a bar tab for the first game, Laura may have found the secret to her bowling game, and she had nothing but spares and strikes, lets see if she sticks to the new life choice, H2O. Great job Laura!

This player of the week goes to the improvement of Andrea Jones with her 115 to a 142. With this kind of improvement she should be a top player in the league by the end of the season. She helped her team make a close game against tough opponents in the second game of their match. keep it up Andrea, form looks solid!

Theme Night - Mustache Night
POTW: Drew Thompson
POTW: Drew Thompson
Livin' on a Spare
Drew takes POTW this week, since it was hard to miss his team all raising their hands in the air in support of him every time he set up to bowl. When asked what this is all about, his teammates stated that he's leading them off and he always raises his arm before he bowls, so they eventually they started following in suit. Drew states, "I've got fans. It's nice!" With all the support he received from his team, he managed to score a 158 and 128! He was also a proud supporter of mustache night, sporting some aviators, a hardrock t-shirt and a handle bar stache, which he insisted on drawing himself while asking around for a mirror!

Shoutout to Laura from "Rollin' Splits" scoring her all time high score of 146 in game one of the evening! Great job!

POTW: Will Braden & Drew Milam
POTW: Will Braden & Drew Milam
Roy Munson's Kids
It was a close call for this week's POTW and after quite a face-off, I have elected both Will and Drew. These are two best friends who support a friendly rivalry and compete week after week for POTW. Well boys, congrats to you both! Out of 9 seasons playing with Underdog, these two have been part of winning 7 championship games. Will has a record game of 289 and scored a 180 and 156 on Monday night. He was not too pleased with his performance, but I'm willing to bet it was his wet shoes and pulled muscle from moving that worked against him. Drew, however, managed to score a 206 and 187 and took down an 8-10 split with their quoted 'silly spin.' Will says they've perfected this roll through the years. Either way, they both helped to ensure their team's victory against their opponents Monday night and should both be proud! Great job guys!

Livin' on a Spare
Matt was cool, calm and collected during the playoffs this past Monday night. He takes our POTW award for assuring his team's advancement into the championship game. He managed to bowl 8 strikes in a row scoring a 253 during game 1. His teammate says he bowling a 298 during their 1st or 2nd game of the season with Underdog. Now, that's something to talk about! In addition to his 1st game of the night, he opened game 2 with 5 strikes in a row. Great job Matt! I'm certain your team appreciates your skills after taking 1st place!
