Summer Rookie Kickball in Fremont Sundays

First day out on the field, and it was John who showed his expertise. He was solid playing defense making over 3 game changing catches and offensively he had a sweet slide home. He has the cuts on his leg to prove it (im sure the catcher from the other team did too since he took her out like a bowling pin!).

Kevin Williams embodies what it means to be a true warrior. With his team, Daddy Gemz, trailing by five runs in the bottom of the seventh, his team was able to score three runs before Kevin came up to the plate with two people on base. Kevin got a base hit, scoring the two base runners to tie the game. That is when it happened, Kevin tried to be aggressive on the base path he slipped rounding second base for third when he used his hand to fall. As he got up and hobbled to third, you could see his shoulder was dislocated. Instead of coming out of the game, he chose to pop it back in and stay in the game. The very next pitch he scored the winning run for his team. Way to go Kevin, ice down that shoulder.

back to back games, and Tim still had the edge in game two. His deadly accuracy at tagging out people was a huge asset to the team. Tim's close out pitching was phenomenal
