Summer Softcore Kickball at U-Dist Playfield Mon/Wed
Kick in a Box jumped all over the depleted Manhandlers (yes the same Manhandlers that won the Red Rubber Showdown) in the first and never looked back. Kick in a Box used there timely kicks and aggressive base running to keep the pressure on all game long. There defense may have been more impressive then the offense as Caitlin Devlin made great line drive catches as the pitcher, while keeping their opponents off balance with her change up and curve ball. Laurel Green was not to be out done as she showed her off great kicking from catcher to first base. This was an all around great effort by Kick in a Box to avenge their one point loss Manhandlers when it matter most. Something tells me these teams will be battling for seasons to come. Congrats Kick in Box on a great season!
