Matt showed he still has game. From shortstop he made amazing catches and covered huge areas of defense. At the plate, he was the offensive sparkplug...contributing a homerun in his first at-kick, followed up by a stand-up triple and ended up scoring on an error. Great way to start the season Matt, at least you know that captain won't make you sleep on the couch for that performance!

Bonnie Polzin gets the POTW for rolling a shutout this week as the Kegerator Kickers defeated the Truffle Shufflers 6-0. Bonnie cant take all the credit though, as her team backed her up with stellar defense. Including getting out of a bases loaded jam late in the game.

This weeks player of the week goes to the big play of Ian Konyot. Ian was the winning run in a very tight game, and had to be aggressive on the bases to make it home safely. With that he did make it home safely, kinda, he touched the plate just before the ball found his face, and he won the game for his team. Great job Ian!

Kyle had a great game this Sunday. He was awesome at the dish. He legged out a triple and helped his team in the outfield with some great catches. He is so unassuming as well. I told him he was player of the game and he almost looked embarrassed! Great job.
