Spring Big Turkey Bowling at Imperial Mondays 7pm

This weeks player of the week goes to the outstanding bowling of Christine Arms. Christine bowled a stellar 135 in her first game, and without this write-up may have never known. Christine bowls with, it seems, little interest of what the ball does after leaving her hand. Every spare and strike was told to her by her team, cause she failed to watch a single shot hit the pins. This style did not affect her, and hopefully her lack of focus, which scored her high, was due to cold drinks and good company! Great job Christine, you probably didn't even know!

Sarah Mansa takes POTW this week for proving that having fun during league theme nights is certainly the way to go. She even questioned the theme for the following week and once informed there is none, responded with, "Oh! So, we can just do one on our own?!!" That's right girl -- go get 'em! Dressed from head to toe in her officer uniform and stocked with handcuffs and a club, this girl knows how to enforce the law. She states "This criminal here was arrested for prostitution," and yells to teammate Desiree Robe, "Yeah Hooker" after she scores a strike! Keeping w/their Reno 911/Cops theme! Sarah even went as far as to direct her team shots to appear as would on the show! She was more than amusing to watch and certainly got her opponents to rally with spirit and cheer on both teams during a healthy competition! That's what it's all about! Great sportsmanship Sarah!

It's hard to miss team "Thank God We're Pretty" in their vintage bowling tees, but let's give up for teammate Jim Horton for keepin' it real this wk. Upon advisement that next week's theme is Pirate Night, he asks "Is it underwear optional?" I suppose it could be, if you'd like it to be Jim! Then, after scoring a XXX in the 9th and 10th frames of the final game, Jim says "It was the Doobie Brothers playing on the jukebox that helped me. I used to listen to them with my parents growing up all the time. It put me in my comfort zone. like COOKIES!" LOL! Love it!! Though he states, for the rest of his teammates, he's bringing his gun next week to take down the remaining pins. I would highly advise against that Jim, but thanks for the laughs!
