In the last game of the early evening it was the Iron Ballerinas of Doom vs. Green Eggs n' Ham! This game alone gets the award for best sportsmanship, but it was also a great game of textbook kickball skills. The final score in this one ended in victory for Green Eggs n' Ham 9-2, thanks in large part to Sarah Sherman! Sarah had 2 huge catches to squelch any chance of an opposing comeback, both catches saved runs being scored. More dramatic still were her two down & dirty slides into the plate to avoid the tag out / throw out, but more than anything it just looked cool! Congrats to Green Eggs n' Ham and Sarah Sherman, the Player Of The Week!!!
